GENERAL:Entire house is under thatch which facilitates the acoustics of all animalnoises including the elephants that drink at night, the grazing of the hippo below the deck, the snorts of impala and the neighing of zebra. It has an open plan living and dining room with a huge fireplace, and a separate equipped kitchen. 3 Bedrooms open onto the covered veranda and a wooden deck extends out towards the dam and extensive views. Electricity comes from a quiet generator. There is house and garden staff available and security is provided. The grounds are maintained, a lawn and colourful gardens, but the natural bush habitat surrounds it all.
NEAREST TOWN: Nairobi is 3.5 hrs drive; Nanyuki is a half-hour away; Pelican House isa base for accessing the entire Mt.Kenya area and its interests.
